Howdy! My name’s Ethan Casillas, and it is truly my pleasure to welcome y’all to the Florida County Commission on Tourism and Development!

It’s my third year at the University of Central Florida where I’m double-majoring in Economics and Political Science. I’m a big fan of live music, art museums, and doomscrolling in bed whenever possible. As a native Floridian studying in the theme park capital of the world, the state’s massive tourism industry is no stranger to me –especially as tourists pack into our beaches, parks, and roads. I’ve been doing MUN since my freshman year of high school, about seven years now, and I’ve had the honor of chairing the past two GatorMUN’s. I look forward to seeing y’all in committee, no doubt it’s going to get silly.
