Press Corps

Directed By: Bryce Ramos and Lillian Rodonich

About:

Bryce Ramos is a graduate student at the University of Florida from Sunrise, Florida studying Statistics. He started Model UN first in his freshman year of high school, but didn't return to MUN until his sophomore year of college and hasn't stopped MUN since. Bryce normally competes as a General Assembly delegate, but he’s bounced around the different committee types (unfortunately not including a Press Corps). GatorMUN, however, has had the opposite experience, with Bryce staffing GatorMUN XX’s Press Corps, directing the Press Corps for GatorMUN XXI, and helping organize the Press Corps as USG of Specialized Committees for GatorMUN XXII.

Beyond the realm of MUN, you can see Bryce watching any number of different sports, especially his hometown Florida Panthers, or playing board games with friends. He also currently holds the title as UF Model UN’s best chef and can often be seen in his kitchen cooking or baking for hours on end. Outside of that, you can see Bryce researching for his multiple fantasy baseball leagues, watching his sister play college softball, or even writing more Model UN background guides. But most of all, he's excited to see the next group of GatorMUN Press Corps delegates in Gainesville in January!

Lillian Rodonich (she/her) is a third-year University of Florida student from Hollywood, Florida, who majors in English and plans to become an attorney. She started Model UN in her junior year of high school, and fell in love with its fast-paced, problem-solving nature. Lillian typically travels as a crisis delegate, but holds some experience with general assembly, specialized committees, and ad-hoc committees. She has staffed numerous committees and is excited to direct for the first time. Lillian is also the Under Secretary General of Technology for SwampMUN I, UFMUN’s online training conference for high school delegates.

Apart from MUN, Lillian enjoys watching baseball and softball, drawing, playing video games, and learning multiple foreign languages (Japanese, Spanish, Italian). She also takes great pride in the multiple essays and writing assignments that she has completed for her undergraduate courses, along with appreciating the art of writing itself. In her free time, she could most likely be seen typing out an essay in the campus library, playing video games, catching up with Major League Baseball and NCAA softball, or drawing. She has always been interested in the Press Corps and is excited to be this year’s Press Corps director!
