After the revelations brought to light by Sully and Mike Wazaowski, Mr. Waternoose, the CEO of Monsters, Inc, the power company of Monstropolis, is bringing together his board of directors as they deliberate over whether or not to switch to laugh power vs the current practice of scream power. While Sully and Mike claim laughter produces much more energy, it would require a procedural overhaul of the entire company to make the switch.
