SOCIAL AND hUMANITARIAN COUNCIL (SOCHUM) Director: SAVANNAH JAMES
The United Nations’ Third Committee, the Social and Humanitarian Council (SOCHUM) was created to address topics of humanitarian nature. This year, SOCHUM at GatorMUN will look to address two topics: Protecting and Preserving Endangered Languages and Addressing Child Slavery. Delegates will participate in the constructive debate of both topics, as well as propose resolutions for each.
